How to book a holiday rental property on Search and Stay

Step 1: Search.

First search to find a suitable property

select a ‘Destination’
select ‘Date From’ (when you’d like to begin your holiday)
select ‘Date To’ (when you’d like to finish your holiday)
select how many guests will be staying (number of adults and children)
Press ‘Search’

Step 2: Review

You will see all the property listings in that destination that are available for your selected dates and number of guests.

Step 3: Filter Suitable Properties

If you’d like to filter the selection more, to reduce your options:

Go to the ‘Price Range’ button and move the slider
Or choose the ‘More Filters’ button and select from the available filters

Step 4: Selection

Choose the property you’re most interested in and view the full listing. Review the property information, house set-up, amenities and check the calendar for available dates.

Step 5: Book

Once you have decided which property you’d like to book. Review the ‘Book Your Stay’ box. Double-check the details, review the booking price and any additional charges like linen and cleaning. Then press ‘Book’.  From here you’ll be taken to a ‘Secure Checkout’.

Check your Order Summary

Total number of days booked
Total cost
Bond including the date that is due to be paid
Additional costs like linen and cleaning
Card transaction fee

To proceed, you will then need to Create an Account or Sign in, if you already have one. Then you can:

Instant Book or
Send a Booking Request – this depends on the owner settings of the rental property.

If it’s a Booking Request press ‘Request to Book’. Your booking request approval can take up to 48 hours. You’ll receive an email confirmation with approval and a link to finalize the booking.
If it’s an Instant Book, once you’ve entered your information press ‘Book’.
You will be shown the ‘Cancellation Policy’, ‘Bond’ and ‘House Rules’ for your holiday/vacation property.
Check the box ‘I have read and agree to comply with all rules & policies’.
Press Continue to go to the ‘Secure Checkout’.

Enter your address or check the box next to ‘Use my address’.
Enter the name on your credit card
Enter the number and expiry date on your card

Check the box next to ‘Save this card’, if you’d like to use the card for future transactions. The card details are encrypted and stored under Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards

Press ‘Finish and Pay’

Step 6: Enjoy your Holiday
