THINGS TO DO IN GERRINGONG

Seven Mile Beach as promised has seven miles of stunning beach which is the perfect surf school location.  Grab your board! But if you’re a newbie or want to learn try Land’s Edge Surf School.

Gerringong Golf Club is one of the Illawarra’s hidden gems overlooking the stunning Walkers Beach. Few other courses can match the beauty of Gerringong Golf Club, with Tasman Sea view on every hole. The course itself offers pure links-style golf with few trees but plenty of exposure to the elements.

Gerringong to Kiama walk

An unbroken ribbon of exploration stretching approximately 20 kilometres, boasting ocean views, spectacular rock formations and unspoilt beaches the Gerringong to Kiama walk is well worth it for those who have the stamina (and motivation). The Kiama Coast Walk has three sections, made up of a series of shorter walks/cycling paths for those who would like to spend a part of the day relaxing back at their holiday accommodation.

Gerringong has great places to dine and drink. But it’s always good to start with a beverage so try Crooked River WinesRoselea Vineyard is nearby, or if you prefer to blow the froth of a few, try Stoic Brewing. Grab a glass and get tasting. Keep room in the back of the car to take home a couple of boxes back to your holiday accommodation in Gerringong.

Sitting on the clifftop over Werri Beach, Gerringong Sea Vista Café is just that – a café with a sea vista. With delicious food and an exceptional view this is the place to go for a morning daily coffee, long breakfast or leisurely lunch.

Crooked River Dining, at the winery offers a white tablecloth menu to match the exceptional surroundings. Plates of European gastronomic delights are crafted from an abundance of local, fresh produce showcasing the region’s finest ingredients alongside award-winning wines.

Browse through the toys, books, clothes, handmade arts and crafts and of course an international mix'n’match of yummy food. A awesome way to spend a Saturday morning don’t get too distracted by the shopping to take in the beach views or buy too much to carry back to your holiday house.
