Destination - Lithgow New South Wales

Lithgow, west of the Blue Mountains, is definitely one of those lesser-explored regions just out of Sydney that shouldn’t be ignored. 

 The Blue Mountains is one of the most visited regions outside of Sydney, and yes it is a spectacular place to visit, but it’s surrounded by several areas that offer a vast array of worthwhile tourist attractions and places of interest. Lithgow and the surrounding towns, west of the Blue Mountains, is definitely one of those.

 

 Lithgow is set in the midst of seven National Parks, seven State Forests and six sweeping valleys that will leave you gobsmacked!

From the wonders of the Glow Worm Tunnel to the wild majesty of Australia’s grand canyon, the Seven Valleys encompass over 4500 square kilometres of inspiring natural beauty and countless attractions to explore and discover; everything from the colonial town of Hartley to indigenous sites belonging to our first nation peoples.
