Horse Drawn Tram – Experience this historic ride along the causeway from Victor Harbor to Granite Island a great thing to do with the kids. For many years goods were conveyed between the mainland of South Australia at Victor Harbor and the Granite Island on railway trucks drawn by horses. Many Victor Harbor visitors delighted in the walk across the Causeway to Granite Island. So as it had become a local attraction, and the rail line already existed, on 27 December 1894, South Australian Railways decided to use a redundant horse-drawn passenger tram to offer a service to the Island. The trip has enjoyed several iterations during the past 130 years,, including an electric tram and a tractor tram but thankfully the horses are back.

Seal Island Tour – see seals, sea lions, dolphins and sea birds up close. This family-friendly cruise takes you from Granite Island Causeway past the horse tram route and out to the open ocean to Seal Rock.
