Integration model

Google Travel is a Sales Channel (SC) that has been successfully integrated with Channel Manager. Property Managers (PMs) can connect to Google Travel and start advertising their properties.

In this integration type, the data flow is the following:

  • If availability and prices change in Channel Manager, Google Travel will be notified about it typically within a minute, but delays may occur.

  • If the static content is updated, these changes are retrieved by Google Travel from Channel Manager typically once a day, but may be less frequently.

Categorisation

Google Travel provides a meta-search solution that allows you to compete with other sales channels within the frame of a single dashboard. Thanks to a targeted search, your potential clients are more likely to find your property and book. Once a property is connected to Google Travel, the channel picks and chooses which properties to publish.

Multi-unit support

Multi-units are not supported in the integration with Google Travel. If multi-units (buildings) are used in Channel Manager, availability is synchronised as if it was a regular property. In other words, the availability for multi-units connected to Google Travel is flattened to 1 unit.

Contract details

New clients: There is no agreement to be signed with Google Travel.

Onboarding time: Once you connect to Google Travel and your inventory is complete, you will go live within 2 days to 1 week.

Commission: No commission.

Payment process: You need to charge the guest.
