KIDS KEEPER FOR A DAY
For younger visitors, the National Zoo and Aquarium offers kids curious about the operation of a zoo, the chance to be a Keeper For A Day!
These three-hour sessions allow children to experience life as a zoo keeper. They will be given the opportunity to participate in activities such as cleaning, feeding and making toys for our animals, as well as learning about local and international conservation issues. Activities are different in each session to ensure that no two days at the zoo are exactly the same. The cost is $80 per session and they run on selected Saturdays and Sundays for three hours.
